MECLA Past Events

MECLA hosts several types of events, stimulating embodied carbon conversations across the constructions supply chain. These events include Spotlights, Deep Dives, Briefings, and Nutcrackers.

Spotlights are 1.5 hour long presentations from professionals about a particular part of the construction ecosystem. Deep Dives are tours of manufacturing and research facilities. Briefings are shorter presentations by a single industry or government representative. And Nutcrackers are facilitated daylong systems mapping exercises with particular supply chain representatives to identify solutions.
